Light for the Forgotten

Beneath the ruins, the cavern breathes in silence. A shaft of sunlight slips through fractured stone, scattering into a trembling cloud of butterflies that rise like fragments of a dream.

Above, the forgotten entrance wears its centuries openly — ivy in the cracks, roots in the mortar. Few who wander these ruins know that the heart of the place beats far below, in the quiet chamber where the light still finds a way in, and the air still stirs with life.
